Learn more at: uncfamilymedicine.org Location: The UNC Family Medicine Center at South Durham The primary function of the Administrative Specialist at UNC FAMILY MEDICINE is to perform and be a resource for all administrative functions. Successful candidate will not only be able to perform all administrative tasks but also be ready to help staff less familiar with administrative roles through complex processes. This includes but is not limited to scheduling, insurance verification/authorization, referral processing, fax management, form processing, and documentation. The Administrative Specialist is a subject point person for administrative concerns, has more experience and is able to go outside of norms to satisfy patient needs.
