As part of the Brand & Campaigns Center of Excellence (COE), the Senior Marketing Associate II supports the growth of Ecolab's Downstream business through the execution of integrated marketing programs, demand generation activities, sales enablement tools, and commercialization initiatives. This role partners closely with Marketing, Sales, Technical, and Communications teams to translate business priorities into compelling customer-facing campaigns and content that drive business results. This role is based in Houston, Texas. What You Will Do Campaigns, Programs & Lead Generation/Nurture
- Support the translation of business strategies into clear messaging, activation plans, and go-to-market execution.
- Coordinate execution of integrated campaigns, including product launches, thought leadership, lead generation, and sales enablement programs across digital, paid, owned, and earned channels, including how content comes to life at key industry events.
- Support customer journeys and demand generation initiatives by helping connect campaign performance metrics to actionable insights.
- Apply understanding of search engine optimization (SEO), answer engine optimization (AEO), and generative engine optimization (GEO) best practices to ensure content is structured, findable, and optimized for search, answer engines, and emerging generative search experiences.
Sales Enablement & Content Development
- Develop and support sales enablement tools, including pitch decks, case studies, value propositions, campaign assets, and related materials.
- Support content strategy by helping define audience needs, key messages, content formats, and channel recommendations that align to campaign objectives.
- Write and edit clear, compelling copy for campaign assets, digital content, sales enablement materials, customer communications, and internal channels.
- Ensure product and service messaging across Ecolab.com and other enterprise channels remain current, accurate, and aligned to business priorities.
Customer Experience Center Leadership
- Support day-to-day activation of the Customer Experience Center in Houston, helping ensure it delivers a consistent, high-quality experience for visitors.
- Help bring the in-person journey to life through tour support, logistics coordination, and timely updates to messaging and materials.
- Maintain a high-quality environment that reflects the brand and supports meaningful customer and stakeholder engagement.
Agency, Vendor & Cross-Functional Management
- Collaborate with other COEs and Downstream colleagues globally to create value-driving campaigns.
Internal Communications & Engagement
- Contribute to Downstream internal communications including newsletters, leadership announcements, and town halls, with the understanding that as the COE continues to evolve, these responsibilities may shift or decrease.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, or related field.
- 3+ years of marketing, marketing communications, or related experience.
- Experience executing integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
- Strong project management, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong content development and copywriting skills, with the ability to translate technical or complex topics into clear, customer-focused messaging.
- Experience working in a matrixed organization.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in refining, petrochemical, chemical, industrial water treatment, energy, or related industrial markets.
- Experience supporting product launches and commercialization programs.
- Familiarity with CRM, marketing automation, digital analytics, and lead generation programs.
- Experience managing agencies and external partners.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Sitecore, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, or similar marketing tools.
- Understanding of SEO, AEO, and GEO execution, including how content strategy, metadata, structured messaging, and performance insights improve digital discoverability.
- Experience developing content strategies or editorial plans that support integrated campaigns, customer journeys, thought leadership, and sales enablement.
Annual or Hourly Compensation Range
The pay range for this position is $85,900.00 - $128,900.00. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
