What to Expect
The Fremont Manufacturing Team at Fremont Factoryis looking for an experienced Video Content Producer to join our team. Being up to date on Tesla's product and process updates, training materials, and cross-departmental knowledge is critical to providing an exceptional customer experience. The Video Content Producer on the Fremont Training Team will be key to continuing Tesla's growth and providing improved internal resources and relevant Factory related manufacturing updates. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in industrial or manufacturing environments with expertise in video recording and editing tools. Photography experience will be a plus. They will also have a strong desire to help build and maintain a world class training program in a dynamic industry-defining organization. This producer will have a passion for teaching others and achieving excellence throughinstruction and problem-solving actions. They possess natural leadership skills, are innovative, and are critical thinkers. They will work within a highly functioning team and must be self-motivated. They have the desire and ability to navigate through multiple competing priorities in a dynamic and fast-paced environment that changes day to day.

What You'll Do
  • Create high-quality digital content, including animation, photography, and more, to engage factory SMEs on a wide variety of subjects
  • Communicate business impact of produced content to senior-level executives and work holistically across functions to drive a unified voice and amplify and align key messages and content
  • Manage all aspects of production from script writing, scheduling shooting, editing, and motion graphics
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams of engineers, technicians, product managers, and subject matter experts to identify training objectives and video resources necessary to break down complex technical information in a clear and engaging format
  • Work on the production floor to gather active operations video and photos
  • Work with various parts of the Manufacturing training teams to manage content storage and identify tracking measures-of-success
  • Manage tasks and information flow using collaboration software (such as Frame.io, JIRA, SharePoint, Confluence, and custom databases)

What You'll Bring
  • Able to lift 40 lbs., walk 5-10 miles per day, and climb multiple flights of stairs
  • Associate's degree or 3 years of practical experience in video editing and video production, or equivalent experience
  • Professional experience with industry-standard cameras (DJI, Sony, Canon, Nikon, etc.)
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite apps including Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Lightroom, InDesign and After Effects (Final Cut is acceptable)
  • Proofread all work and maintain accurate logs, records, and files of work performed
  • Innovative, flexible, positive teaching style and understanding the needs of students from diverse backgrounds
  • Strong ability to work and communicate effectively with Cross Functional Teams and peers within various parts of the Manufacturing organization

    Expected Compensation
    $64,000 - $120,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits

    Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
