What We Need:

We are looking for a Marketing Manager 1 to join our HNI Workplace Furnishings team.

The Marketing Manager 1 is responsible for contributing collaboratively with a broad cross-functional team to lead, develop, implement, and manage brand communication strategies and marketing plans for new products and existing product portfolio within various business segments and vertical markets. This role will have category or initiative ownership to drive results through cross-functional collaboration within a specific area focused on driving processes.

What You Will Do:

  • Develop product,event, and brand plans for producing and delivering a wide range of marketing content totargetedaudience segments highlighting company programs, initiatives, and services for new and existing products.
  • Drive all phases of the product launch process from marketresearch to launchto post-launch analysis.
  • Work directly with internal functional groups, including Product Management, Digital Experience, Showrooms, Engineering, and Field Sales to execute tactics supporting the strategy.
  • Engage and drive vendor relationships including design and communication firms, photographers and renderers, and printers in support of product and company initiatives.
  • Develop and manage project-specific budgets and timelines whilemonitoringprogress to milestones and auditing expenses for cost-savings opportunities.
  • Create and present clear and persuasive rationale for marketing campaign approaches.
  • Work with leadership and cross-functional teams to understand, define, and drive business strategies and strategic marketing initiatives.
  • Ensure brand is communicated effectively through review and editing of content, including websites, social media, newsletters, brochures, and other marketing channels.
  • Partner withsalesteam toidentifycustomer installations to develop case studies that effectively communicate the brand story.
  • Participate in activities asappropriate toensure the success of the organization.

What You Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communication, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • At least3 yearsof relevant experience isrequired;4yearsof experiencepreferred.

What You're Good At:

  • Demonstratedknowledge and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suiterequired.
  • Demonstratedknowledge with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Acrobat Pro)required.
  • Demonstratedknowledge with email communication tools (Exact Target, Constant Contact, Mail Chimp)requiredfor Integrated Support roles.
  • Demonstratedhistory of excellent written and verbal communication skills, including but not limited to presentations,writingreports, meetings, e-mails, and telephone communications isrequired.
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills with ability in isolating the causesfromsymptoms, involving others asappropriate, and researching and implementing solutions that show sound judgement isrequired.
  • Proven business industry knowledge with proven history and in-depth understanding of the organizational functions isrequired.
  • The ability to build professional relationships and workcollaborativelyestablishingand leveraging established networks to share resources cross-functionally isrequired.
  • Demonstrated ability to influencewithout authority, effectively guide a team, and make decisions within the framework of the organization's strategic intent isrequired.
