GENERAL SUMMARY:

Contributes to a broad range of high impact initiatives designed to support the development of leadership excellence and improve the overall effectiveness of the organization. Provides effective consulting services to the organization and its leaders. Identifies opportunities for improving leadership performance and accelerating change by applying conceptual frameworks, technologies and methods based on theory and practice. This position plans for organization development, change management, talent management, and learning and development services and offerings, which align to the strategic goals of Bryan Health.



PRINCIPAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

1. *Commits to the mission, vision, beliefs and consistently demonstrates our core values.

2. *Identifies or develops appropriate learning and organization development solutions, ensuring effectiveness by designing or selecting the appropriate format, materials, exercises, delivery, etc. for the intended purpose and audience. Utilizes performance data to identify program goals and measure impact.

3. *Develops and maintains programs to address new employee on-boarding, leadership development, organizational and team development, culture/change management, and securing appropriate learning and development vendor programs, resources, and tools to enable the results and people oriented culture within Bryan Health.

4. *Analyzes organization performance needs based on organizational goals and designs interventions to meet those needs.

5. *Designs and delivers instructional interventions as needed.

6. *Acts as a Liaison with internal customers (directors, managers, supervisors, etc.) to establish relationships and understand business needs. Serves as a coach for leaders to facilitate team and organization improvement.

7. *Develops project structure, approach and plans for organization effectiveness and leadership development initiatives, working on both an individual basis and with teams, while engaging appropriate stakeholders.

8. *Facilitates Employee Engagement survey; responsible for company-wide survey administration, communication, analysis of results, and organization-wide action planning.

9. *Ensures effective execution of change leadership and process excellence strategies and tactics within departments, developing appropriate metrics and methods of evaluation, and working to continuously improve programs and resources to better align with business, leader, and employee need, based upon evaluation data.

10. *Serves as a facilitator for meetings, teams and committees as needed; identifies and organizes resources needed to accomplish initiative to meet business, performance, or learning needs .

11. Stays current on business trends in health care and general management challenges that align with the strategies of Bryan Health and our internal customers

12. Maintains professional growth and development through seminars, workshops, and professional affiliations to keep abreast of latest trends in field of expertise.

13. Participates in meetings, committees and department projects as assigned.

14. Performs other related projects and duties as assigned.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

1. Knowledge of quality improvement and performance excellence principles and tools.

2. Knowledge of adult education principles including performance and competency models.

3. Knowledge of management and leadership principles and practices.

4. Knowledge of hardware equipment and software applications relevant to work functions.

5. Ability to analyze business, performance, learning and work environment needs of the organization.

6. Ability to influence and consult with leaders at all levels, including executives.

7. Ability to think strategically and systemically and achieve results collaborating across organizational boundaries.

8. Ability to assess individual performance needs, create individual development plans; and provide appropriate coaching.

9. Ability to facilitate groups of varying size through extensive knowledge of group process.

10. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

11. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of personnel and medical staff.

12. Ability to problem solve and engage independent critical thinking skills.

13. Ability to maintain confidentiality relevant to sensitive information.

14. Ability to prioritize work demands and work with minimal supervision.

15. Ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance.



EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Organizational Development, Training & Development, Leadership Development or other Human Resources related field is required. Masters degree in OD or related field is strongly preferred. Minimum of seven (7) year's experience in training and leadership development, organization development or performance improvement required. Preferred experience in implementing successful organization strategies within the medical field preferred.
