We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Driver to support data collection and mapping operations in the Philadelphia area. This role primarily covers third shift hours and weekend schedules. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently while following established procedures. Responsibilities include safely operating company-provided vehicles on public roads and driving assigned routes to support mapping and data collection efforts. The Driver will be responsible for performing daily vehicle inspections prior to operation, following defined driving and data collection protocols, and conducting basic system checks and calibrations as trained. During data collection, the Driver will monitor in-vehicle systems to ensure proper operation and accuracy. This role requires regular coordination with operations teams regarding routes and schedules, as well as ensuring that collected data is properly transferred according to provided instructions. The Driver may also assist with basic equipment setup and troubleshooting when needed. Any issues or anomalies must be documented and reported clearly and promptly. Qualified candidates must hold a valid U.S. driver's license and maintain a clean driving record. All applicants must pass a BG check and motor vehicle record (MVR) review. The position requires the ability to drive for extended periods, typically 6 to 8 hours per day. Successful candidates will demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work independently. A willingness to consistently follow procedures and learn new tools and processes is essential. Basic computer and technical skills are required, along with strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with the team. This is an entry-level position offering an opportunity to gain experience in a growing field involving technology and mapping operations.
