Patient Services Representative - Dental Location: (Insert Location) \| Full-Time We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Patient Services Representative to support our dental operations team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring a smooth patient experience by managing scheduling, registration, and insurance-related processes while serving as a key liaison between patients and dental providers. Key Responsibilities * Complete patient registration by collecting and verifying demographic and insurance information * Determine appropriate fees and collect patient payments accurately * Schedule and confirm patient appointments and manage incoming referrals * Verify dental codes and insurance coverage to ensure accurate billing * Serve as a liaison between dental students/providers and patients, ensuring clear communication and coordination * Provide appointment reminders and follow-up communications * Maintain accurate patient records and documentation * Prepare and reconcile daily payments, including handling deposits * Support front office operations with a strong focus on customer service and patient satisfaction Required Qualifications * 2+ years of experience in a healthcare or dental setting (dental experience strongly preferred) * 2+ years of customer service experience * Knowledge of third-party reimbursement and insurance processes * Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) * Strong organizational, mathematical, and data entry skills Key Skills & Abilities * Patient scheduling and coordination * Attention to detail and accuracy * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to multitask and remain flexible in a fast-paced environment * Ability to read, interpret, and explain insurance and billing information * Experience using office tools such as calculators, payment processing systems, and scheduling software What We're Looking For * A dependable, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a patient-facing role * Someone who takes initiative and delivers a high level of service * A team player who can balance administrative duties with patient support responsibilities Experience Level * Mid to upper Level (2+ years required) Why Join Us? * Supportive and collaborative team environment * Opportunity to grow within dental or healthcare operations * Meaningful role contributing directly to patient care and experience If you enjoy working in a fast-paced healthcare environment and are passionate about providing excellent patient service, we encourage you to apply!
