What You'll Do As an Accounts Receivable Charge Off Specialist, you'll play a key role in helping members resolve charged-off checking and savings account balances while maintaining positive customer relationships. Key Responsibilities: Review and analyze account information across multiple systems Investigate reasons for non-payment and identify appropriate recovery solutions Work directly with members, joint owners, and co-signers to establish repayment plans Negotiate payment arrangements and follow up on commitments Provide financial guidance and support to help members meet repayment obligations Communicate professionally through phone calls, letters, and internal correspondence Maintain accurate documentation and account records Update account alerts, payment statuses, and recovery system information Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state regulations What We're Looking For Required Qualifications: 2-3+ years of customer service, collections, or call center experience Previous banking, credit union, or financial services experience preferred Strong Microsoft Excel skills Accurate data entry and typing skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and customer service abilities Professional demeanor with the ability to remain calm under pressure Why You'll Love This Opportunity Hybrid work schedule Stable Monday-Friday hours Opportunity to gain experience with a respected financial institution Collaborative team environment Enhance your collections, banking, and customer relations expertise Make a direct impact by helping members resolve financial challenges Schedule Monday-Friday Hybrid work arrangement Must be available to work between *7:00 AM - 6:00 PM* Ready to Take the Next Step?
