*Job Description*
TEKsystems is seeking a Business Development Representative to support a growing pipeline within the public sector in Hawaii. This role sits within the Business Development function and is responsible for enabling efficient execution of opportunities from intake through proposal and handoff to delivery. This is not a quota-carrying sales role. This is a high-impact coordination and operations role that works closely with Business Development Leads, delivery teams, and clients to ensure opportunities are well-structured, clearly defined, and ready for execution. Location Requirement * Must be based on Oahu, Hawaii * This is an on-site role (with limited flexibility) * Candidate must be able to attend in-person internal and client meetings as needed *Additional Skills & Qualifications* 1. Opportunity & Pipeline Coordination * Maintain and update the Business Development pipeline across tools (e.g., NetSuite, Smartsheet) * Ensure all opportunities are accurately tracked, including: o Stage o Owner o Estimated value o Key dates * Provide visibility into pipeline status for leadership and cross-functional teams 2. Cross-Functional Coordination * Coordinate across: o Business Development Leads o PMO / Delivery teams o Technical teams o Finance and Resource Management * Schedule and manage: o Working sessions o Validation checkpoints o Proposal timelines 3. Proposal & SOW Support (Drafting & Editing) * Support development of proposal materials, including: o RFP responses o Statements of Work (SOWs) o Supporting documentation * Assist with: o Drafting sections of SOWs (scope, assumptions, structure) o Editing and refining content for clarity and consistency * Maintain version control and ensure alignment across contributors * Coordinate submission timelines and requirements 4. Client Interaction Support * Participate in select client meetings alongside BizDev Leads * Support: o Note-taking and follow-ups o Clarification of scope and requirements o Coordination of next steps * May assist in gathering requirements and documenting client needs 5. Handoff Preparation (BizDev Delivery) * Prepare and organize handoff materials for delivery teams, including: o Scope summaries o Assumptions and constraints o Key risks and dependencies * Ensure required information is captured prior to handoff * Support coordination of formal handoff sessions 6. Process & Operational Support * Help standardize and improve BizDev workflows and coordination practices * Identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements * Support adoption of tools and processes across the BizDev team 7. Reporting & Insights * Generate reports on: o Pipeline status o Opportunity progression o Key metrics (as defined by leadership) * Support data accuracy and consistency across systems *Job Type & Location*This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Honolulu, HI. *Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
