A dynamic, growth-oriented organization is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support its commercial operations. This role will act as a key finance partner to revenue-generating teams, providing insights and analysis to help drive business performance and guide strategic decision-making.

This is a highly visible opportunity for someone who enjoys working cross-functionally and using data to influence outcomes across sales and marketing functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and ongoing performance analysis
  • Develop financial models and reporting tools to track revenue trends, pipeline activity, and business performance
  • Analyze marketing investments and evaluate return on spend to improve allocation decisions
  • Support profitability analysis across customers, channels, and territories
  • Assist with sales planning efforts, including territory alignment and incentive structure modeling
  • Contribute to month-end and quarter-end processes through variance analysis and performance reporting
  • Maintain data accuracy across financial systems and reporting tools
  • Participate in budgeting and expense tracking for commercial functions
  • Support ad hoc analysis and strategic initiatives as the business evolves
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, ideally supporting revenue-generating teams
  • Experience working in a data-driven environment with large datasets and multiple reporting sources
  • Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling and data analysis
  • Strong data visualization and reporting experience (e.g., dashboards, performance reporting)
  • Proven ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for non-finance stakeholders
  • Strong communication skills with experience partnering cross-functionally
  • Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools preferred
  • Exposure to SQL, Python, or other data/analytics tools is a plus
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and understanding of sales performance metrics is preferred
  • Background in a product-based or operational environment (e.g., manufacturing, consumer goods, etc.) is a plus
  • MBA or CPA (or progress toward) preferred
