Pay Rate: $30-$32/hour (DOE)
Must be able to work a minimal of 45-50 /HRS
The Inventory Warehouse Associate is responsible for performing a variety of warehouse functions, including receiving, storing, handling, and shipping products and materials. This role requires accurate inventory management, safe operation of equipment, and maintaining an organized and efficient warehouse environment.
Job Summary:
Inventory Management
- Receive, unload, and process incoming shipments accurately
- Perform cycle counts and physical inventory audits
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the warehouse management system (WMS)
- Identify and report inventory discrepancies, damages, or shortages
Material Handling & Storage
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment
- Organize and store products in designated locations
- Safely operate PIT (Powered Industrial Truck) equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, reach trucks, and order pickers
- Load and unload trucks and containers
Warehouse Operations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations
- Assist with receiving inspections and quality checks
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals
Qualifications
- 2+ years of Fulfillment Center Operations experience, including an industry with receiving and inventory functions.
- Safety is a top priority it is imperative that the employee strictly adheres to established safety protocols and guidelines. This includes but is not limited to, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), following safe operating procedures, and participating in regular safety training sessions.
- Employee must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- An attitude of world-class quality, attention to detail, and dedication.
- Communication skills within a highly technical environment.
- Mathematical skills including calculation of percentages, area, volume, and unit of measure conversions. - Analytical skills to define problems, collect appropriate and relevant data, establish facts, and draw reasonable conclusions from gathered information.
- Ability to derive inventory requirements from drawings, specifications, and Bills of Material.
- Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion.
- Previous certified forklift experience
- Must be able to work at least 45hr/wk, opportunity to work 55/hrs - 55/hrs per/wk
Desired
- Warehouse/Receiving/Inventory experience in the aerospace industry.
