Cardiology
HealthPartners is offering a 12-month postgraduate fellowship program to Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners interested in advanced training in cardiology with a targeted start date of January 2027 (flexible). The HealthPartners Cardiology Advanced Practice Clinician (APC) Fellowship is designed to support new graduate APCs in their transition to practice or experienced APCs in their transition to a new specialty. Building on the American College of Cardiology APC Competencies as the foundation of the clinical and didactic curriculum, APC fellows develop competence and confidence in delivering evidence-based, patient-centered care to patients with acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions. Rotations provide exposure to multiple cardiology subspecialties and pertinent medical specialties. Responsibilities include performing histories and physicals, developing differential diagnoses, formulating assessment and management plans, coordinating care, providing patient education and treatment, and participating in all required educational opportunities. Clinical supervision and support are provided by attending physicians and APCs. Through diverse rotations, didactic lectures, and structured mentorship, APC fellows gain the knowledge, skills, and confidence necessary for a successful career in cardiology. At HealthPartners, you will find a warm, diverse group of people who are committed to helping our patients - and each other.
