We are looking for a Vice President, Insights to lead themanufacturer client, bringinga high levelof strategic thought leadership, industry perspective, and consultative partnership to help the clientidentifyand act on the strongest pathways to growth across OTC and Personal Care. This role will be accountable for elevating the quality of insights, connecting signals across the marketplace, and leading the teamthat serves theclienttoward the right solutions for theirmost important business questions.

Job Description

You are a seasoned CPG insights leader with strong experience in OTC and Personal Care(preferred)and the ability to bring forwardindustryperspective that helps clients see what matters, what is changing, and where growth can be unlocked. You are a strong listener and a confident advisor: youseekto understandclientneeds, but you also know how to shape the conversation, challenge assumptions constructively, and lead the team toward the best solution. You are energized by connecting dots across data, consumer behavior, retail dynamics, category trends, and business strategy to create compelling stories and clear recommendations. You inspire teams to think beyond the ask, elevate the work, and deliver insights that help the client make stronger, faster decisions.

  • Leada team of analytics / insights associates successfully; guiding,coachingand developing teammembers; providing them withtimelyfeedback and recognition on performanceto ensure the teamdemonstrateshighstandards of performanceandprofessional competencies
  • Partner closely with cross-functional peers and the Account Director to elevate the client experience, align on joint business goals, and ensure NIQ is bringing forward integrated, value-creating solutions.
  • Lead the team in listening deeply to client needs, pressure-testing the true business question, and translating those needs into the right analytic path rather than simply taking prescriptions from the client.
  • Own and lead key client meeting responsibilities by bringing elevated insights, commercial perspective, and relevant industry trends across OTC, Personal Care, consumer behavior, retail dynamics, and category growth opportunities.
  • Own cross-category insights that connect performance across the business, helping the clientidentifytotal risks, opportunities, and strategic priorities that inform stronger decision-making.
  • Grow executive-level engagement by acting as a strategic dot connector who synthesizes client priorities, marketplace trends, consumer signals, and NIQ capabilities into clear, compelling recommendations.
  • Inspire and guide the team toidentifypathways to growth for the client, building stories that move beyond reporting to deliver actionable implications, strategic choices, and client-ready recommendations.
  • Be present onsite at the clientsitea minimum of two days per week to deepen partnership, strengthen day-to-day collaboration, and stayclosely connectedto emerging client priorities.
Qualifications

This is a HYBRID position requiring 2 days a week onsite inNew Providence, NJ

  • 10+ years of experience in the CPG industry, with meaningful experience in OTC, Personal Care, Health&Wellness, or adjacent consumer categories preferred.
  • At least5 years' experience leading teams and ability to coach others in data analysis
  • Strong stakeholder management experience with complex client relationships, including the ability to build trust, influence senior stakeholders, and elevate the quality of strategic partnership.
  • Demonstrated ability to use data analytics, consumer insights, retail dynamics, and industry context to drive brand building, marketing, merchandising, innovation, and growth strategy.
  • Experience working withsyndicated tools (NielsenIQorCircana, or similar panel, RMS/POS, scan data)
  • Proventrack recordof building client engagement through thought leadership, consultative problem solving, and the ability to connect business questions to high-impact analytic solutions.
  • Ability and willingness to work onsite at the clientsitea minimum of two days per week.
  • Bachelor's Degreeor Master'sDegree
Additional Information

This role has a market-competitive salary withan anticipatedbase compensation of the following range: $175,000 - $190,000. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role might also be eligible for a sales-based incentive or performance-based bonus.
