As a Sterile Processing Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting surgical services by managing inventory, coordinating purchasing activities, and ensuring the seamless flow of supplies between Sterile Processing, the Operating Room, and Supply Chain. The RoleThe Sterile Processing Coordinator performs a variety of administrative, inventory management, purchasing, and operational support functions within the Sterile Processing Department. This role serves as a key liaison between Sterile Processing, Perioperative Services, Supply Chain, and vendor partners to ensure the availability of critical surgical instruments, implants, and supplies that support exceptional patient care. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education: High School Graduate or Equivalent Experience: 1 year relevant experience in purchasing/inventory management preferred. Licensure: None required. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Job requires sitting/standing for prolonged periods, frequently bending/stooping/traveling and reaching (overhead, extensive, repetitive).Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull 25-50lbs. Working in environment with fumes, chemicals, vibrations, heat, noise, blood/body fluids and infectious disease. The pay range for this role is $21.52 - $39.55 hourly.
