ABOUT THE JOB:
Assist with the installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electrical systems and components in mobile and modular buildings, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
- Assists Electrical Journeymen with installations for mobile and modular units, supporting both new construction and occasional remodel projects.
- Assists in facility electrical maintenance.
- Assist in service calls.
- Gathers and prepares electrical materials, tools and equipment in accordance with project requirements.
- Maintains compliance with WillScot Safety, Transportation, and Environmental policies, OSHA requirements, and all applicable Oregon and Washington state regulations.
- Maintains a clean and organized work area.
- May require occasional overnight travel.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum Required Education level: This job requires an individual to be enrolled in Oregon's Electrical License Apprentice program: IEC Area II
- Preferred Education Level: High School Diploma/GED
- Years of related experience: 0-4 years
- Ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams.
- Ability to understand basic mathematical concepts.
- Ability to work with a variety of hand tools in a proficient manner.
- Familiarity with power tools: drill, bandsaw.
- Communication: Ability to take directions and communicate with team.
- Apprentices must maintain good standing with the IEC Area II apprenticeship program.
