The job entails providing technical advice, expertise, and consultation on behalf of the department. The role involves driving large and complex project and program efforts, analysis completion, and implementing key tactics that support the organizations global market, revenue, and pricing strategies.

Essential Functions

  • Works on cross-functional/regional teams to facilitate and assist in prioritizing tactics and strategies.
  • Analyzes business processes and global revenue capabilities to recommend strategic and tactical solutions.
  • Performing data extraction from appropriate sources using programming languages and technical tools is also part of the role.
  • Utilizes knowledge and technical knowledge to drive the development of tools to enhance customer experience, production, and increase efficiency.
  • Develop program roadmaps, project plans, and timelines, coordinating and negotiating project plans with team members and departments, ensuring projects are complete, accurate, and on time.
  • Act as the pricing divisions representative and advocate on cross-functional/regional projects, identifying and defining basic problems and alternatives for each project including risks and benefits, and performing other duties as assigned. The individual also develops working relationships with systems development to provide input for production systems and ensure appropriate data feed for non-production systems.
  • Drives business process engineering projects requiring collaboration with IT to engineer end-to-end applications using process engineering techniques and software development paradigms.
  • Defines data needs, creating regularly updated databases, and establishing interfaces to specific models, between key databases, and client/server systems to solve complex business problems.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Description Summary

The Revenue Principal provides advanced pricing, revenue strategy, and commercialization expertise in support of global market, revenue, and pricing objectives. This role leads complex cross functional and regional initiatives, develops fact-based recommendations, and supports the design and execution of scalable pricing strategies, revenue capabilities, and commercial processes. The position serves as a senior individual contributor and strategic advisor to Pricing leadership, partnering across Product, Marketing, Sales, Finance, Operations, IT, and regional teams to improve decision quality, strengthen governance, and enable disciplined execution of revenue initiatives.

Minimum Education

Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline required. Related experience may offset degree requirements and related education/degree may offset experience requirements.

Minimum Experience

Seven (7) years of experience in analytical/quantitative business, sales, systems development, or operations research.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Demonstrated experience with market research, pricing/revenue management, financial analysis, and computer modeling.
  • Strong human relations, communications, organizational, and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Preferred Capabilities Strong analytical and financial acumen with the ability to translate complex data into clear business recommendations.
  • Experience supporting pricing, revenue management, commercialization, digital product strategy, business case development, or global go to market initiatives.
  • Ability to operate as a senior individual contributor, influencing across functions without direct authority.
  • Strong executive communication skills, including the ability to frame tradeoffs, risks, recommendations, and implementation considerations.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop scalable processes, governance structures, tools, and operating routines.
  • Experience partnering with Product, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations, IT, and regional teams.
  • Ability to challenge assumptions and provide fact-based recommendations while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Comfort working in ambiguous, complex, and fast-moving environments.

Job Conditions

  • Some travel is required.

Domicile

This is a hybrid position located in Memphis, TN, Plano, TX, Pittsburgh, PA or Lakeland, FL. Candidates must live within 50 miles of the campus location. Employees will be required to work at the FedEx campus location several times per week.
