General Job Description We are hiring Electrical Helpers to join our growing team in Charlotte, NC. We are looking for dependable, hardworking individuals who are ready to start quickly and build a career in the electrical trade. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on field experience, learn from experienced electricians, and grow within the residential electrical industry. As an Electrical Helper, you will support lead electricians and field crews with residential electrical installations on active construction sites. Key Duties & Responsibilities As an Electrical Helper, you will: Assist with residential rough-in work, including measuring, cutting, and pulling wire Help install electrical trim components such as outlets, switches, light fixtures, and devices Carry, organize, and stage tools, materials, and equipment for the crew Support the lead electrician and field team with daily jobsite tasks Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe Maintain a professional and respectful working relationship with supervisors, leadmen, and crew members Communicate job progress, issues, and solutions when needed Follow all company safety policies and report hazards promptly Take direction well and contribute to a productive team environment Perform other duties as assigned Minimum Education None Minimum Years of Experience 0-2 Specific Qualifications Qualifications & Skills Electrical experience is preferred but not required Knowledge of the National Electrical Code is a plus Ability to pass pre-employment screening such as background check and MVR Ability to read blueprints and electrical layouts is a plus Strong communication and problem-solving skills Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn Ability to work well as part of a team Physical Requirements Stand, walk, bend, kneel, squat, and climb throughout the workday Lift, carry, and move tools and materials up to 50 pounds Safely use hand tools and power tools Work at heights using ladders and lifts on multi-story residential construction sites Wear required personal protective equipment while performing job duties Maintain reliable attendance and stamina for full work shifts Work Environment Electrical Helpers work on active residential construction sites. Conditions may include indoor and outdoor work, heat, humidity, dust, noise, unfinished structures, ladders, and uneven terrain. Safety procedures and personal protective equipment are required at all times.
