Job Description: Microchip Technology is seeking an experienced Technical Staff Engineer to provide technical leadership for the High Power Solutions (HPS) Business Unit. This highly visible role combines deep technical expertise, customer engagement, and strategic market support to accelerate growth across high-power semiconductor and power conversion applications. The successful candidate will serve as a recognized technical authority supporting customers, field sales, applications teams, and business development worldwide. This individual will influence product direction, drive design wins, and help define system-level solutions spanning Silicon Carbide (SiC), Power Modules, IGBTs, Gate Drivers, and related high-power technologies. The role offers broad exposure to strategic growth markets including Industrial Infrastructure, AI Power Infrastructure, Semiconductor Capital Equipment, Grid & Energy, Renewable Energy, Medical, and Commercial Transportation. As business needs evolve, this role may expand to include broader technical leadership responsibilities within the global Subject Matter Expert organization. Key Responsibilities Technical Leadership
