Position Summary:

The Senior UX/UI Designer I is an experienced contributor on the UX/UI Design team. They will lead designs for one or more cross-functional product teams, while collaborating with fellow designers to ensure consistency across the products. Theydemonstratebest design practices,leadby example, producehigh qualitywork product, and continuously add value to the design team, their product team, and the organization. They contribute to all phases of the design process including research and prototyping, design execution, and documentation.

A senior designer isidentifiedby their ability to think critically, hear different arguments, and cut to the core need, pain point, or problem statement to deliver value. They work in confidence, leaning on their experience,to knowwhen to pivot, when to push, and when to cede ground. They are facilitators who elevate the performance and quality of those around them.

PositionResponsibilities:



  • Serve as the lead UX/UI designer for one or more product teamswhere you willdelivercomplex UX/UI designsolutionfrom conception to launch, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs.


  • Conduct and oversee user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing to inform design decisions.


  • Facilitate design thinking workshops and brainstorming sessions to drive innovative solutions.


  • Create high-fidelity wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs that effectively communicate design concepts.


  • Delight users with modern enterprise product experiences that are efficient, learnable, and thoughtfully interconnected.


  • Contribute to and helpmaintaindesign systems, style guides, and pattern libraries to ensure consistency across products.


  • Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define product requirements and implement design solutions.


  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior designers, fostering their growth and development.


  • Stay current with UX/UI design trends, tools, and best practicesfor product design, usability, and accessibility.


Minimum Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's Degree,certificate, or equivalent work experience


  • 5+years experiencein a UX or Product Designer role.


  • Mastery of Figma, XD,Sketchor other UX/UI design tools - is willing to work exclusively in Figma, in this role.


  • Proven experience designing and delivering responsive designs for complex interfaces with a working knowledge of CSS media queries and Flexbox.


  • A strongportfoliodemonstratingreal-world projects that adhere to foundational UX and UI principlesand accessibility standards.


  • Workingknowledge of HTMLandCSS.


  • Functional understanding ofGithub,React.js, and client-side APIs a plus


  • Experienceworking in data-heavy, enterprise platforms -Pharmacy Benefits or Health Insurance company experienceis a plus


  • Strong communicationand collaboration skills.


  • Intellectual and professional curiosity.


  • Comfort or experience in a fast-paced, growing environment.

Denver, CO Salary Range
$114,800 $143,500 USD
Charlotte, NC Salary Range
$104,400 $130,500 USD
