Low Voltage Security Systems Technician:
Install, configure, maintain, and repair low-voltage security systems, including access control, CCTV, intercom, intrusion detection, and alarm systems.
Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal system performance and reliability.
Diagnose equipment, wiring, and network-related issues using technical knowledge and diagnostic tools, implementing effective corrective actions.
Assist with system upgrades, expansions, and modernization projects to support evolving organizational security requirements.
Ensure compliance with applicable safety regulations, industry standards, manufacturer specifications, and security best practices.
Maintain accurate documentation of installations, repairs, maintenance activities, and system configurations.
Collaborate with security personnel, facilities management, contractors, and stakeholders to coordinate projects, resolve technical issues, and provide ongoing support.
Support the operation of integrated electronic security systems in a healthcare or institutional environment.

Minimum Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with low-voltage systems (access control, CCTV, alarms, intercoms)
  • Familiarity with:
    • Access control systems
    • CCTV/video surveillance systems
    • Intrusion alarm systems
    • Security system maintenance and repair
    • Cable installation and termination
