POSITION SUMMARY:

A member of the Boston Medical Center Health System, is seeking anexperienced Dermatology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistantto join our growing outpatient dermatology program inBrighton, MA. This role is ideal for a dermatology APP who is comfortable practicing independently within a collaborative care model and is excited to help grow services in a modern, community-based setting.

Position: Physician Assistant

Department: Dermatology

Schedule: 40 hours

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:


  • Provide comprehensive outpatient dermatologic care to adult patients

  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic skin conditions

  • Perform dermatologic procedures within scope and demonstrated experience, including but not limited to:

  • Skin biopsies and excisions

  • Cryotherapy and electrodessication

  • Intralesional and cosmetic injections (if applicable)

  • Develop and manage treatment plans and follow patients longitudinally

  • Educate patients on skin health, disease prevention, and treatment options

  • Document clinical encounters accurately and timely in the electronic medical record

  • Collaborate with dermatologists, primary care providers, and clinical staff


JOB REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION:

  • Graduate of an accreditedNurse Practitioner or Physician Assistantprogram

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS REQUIRED:


  • Current or eligibleMassachusetts licensure

  • National board certification (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA as applicable)

  • Minimum of 2 years of direct outpatient dermatology experience required


KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:


  • Demonstrated competency in medical dermatology and common dermatologic procedures

  • Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills


Compensation Range:

$109,000.00- $158,000.00

This range offers an estimate based on the minimum job qualifications. However, our approach to determining base pay is comprehensive, and a broad range of factors is considered when making an offer. This includes education, experience, skills, and certifications/licensures as they directly relate to position requirements; as well as business/organizational needs, internal equity, and market-competitiveness.
