Vice President, Fund/Client Accounting Manager

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:

* Conduct accounting services for assigned clients and complex funds, including determining net asset values, calculating fund performance, allocating expenses, and preparing reports
* Lead and review the work of junior team members for assigned clients or funds, providing input into methodologies and checking complex work
* Drive service improvement plans, target efficiencies, enhance processes, and perform specialist review functions within Fund/Client Accounting
* Provide guidance and review work related to cash and asset reconciliations for complex accounts or atypical transactions; resolve the most complex reconciliations
* Draft client reports on the performance of highly complex funds and provide guidance on report structure
* Regularly interact with clients to answer questions and resolve multifaceted issues regarding fund reports and accounting processes
* Evaluate GAAP and/or IFRS rules to determine the impact of new regulations on BNY Mellon fund accounting practices

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
* Bachelor's degree in accounting or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required
* 7-10 years of total work experience preferred, with demonstrated expertise in fund/client accounting for complex funds and accounts
* Experience conducting cash and asset reconciliations, resolving complex or atypical transactions, and reviewing work of junior team members
* Strong knowledge of GAAP and/or IFRS with the ability to assess regulatory changes and their impact on accounting practices
* Big 4 accounting firm experience preferred
