CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsibilities and tasks are written as follows:

  • Performs all types of building repairs including masonry including tuck pointing, concrete and finishing, and epoxy flooring. Experience preferred in carpentry, roofing installation, shoring, painting, sewers, snow removal, and plumbing,

  • Performs and understands the installation/layout of all pipes

  • Understands current plumbing codes and all sewer cleaning equipment.

  • Performs soldering and working with pro press system

  • Demonstrates welding skills

  • Knowledge of the use of copper stainless steel, galvanized steel, and PVC pipes

  • Demonstrates thorough skills in maintenance renovation and constructions of all types.

  • Analyzes and plans work.

  • Demonstrates knowledge of wood structure of old buildings.

  • Safely operates maintenance and construction tools.

  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Crew Leader and Supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred

  • Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment.

TOOLS & EQUIPMENT:

  • Basic hand, carpentry, roofing, painting and tools.

  • The majority of the time is spent in the plant environment and will include wet or humid conditions (non-weather related), extreme cold and heat (non-weather related), working near moving mechanical parts, exposure to fumes or airborne particles, and chemicals.

  • Work in all inside and outside conditions.

  • Noise level is loud in the production area and hearing protection is always required.

  • Must be able to lift up to 60lbs.

SAFETY EQUIPMENT/TRAINING REQUIREMENT:

  • Bump cap, hair/beardnet, eye protection/goggles, hand protection, hearing protection and safety shoes
