Materials Planner

We are seeking an experienced Senior Material Planner to support new customer program launches across a global manufacturing network of 72 plants. This role serves as the key link between customers, manufacturing plants, engineering, and supply chain teams to ensure successful onboarding of new programs and smooth production ramp-ups.

The ideal candidate will have strong ERP planning experience (Oracle and/or SAP preferred), a background in manufacturing, and experience with material planning, BOMs, ECOs, and new product introductions.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with customers and manufacturing plants to onboard new programs and supportsuccessful product launches.
• Analyze demand and develop material plans to support production schedules.
• Review and maintain ERP planning parameters, item master data, and planning attributes.
• Validate BOM structures and ensure alignment with manufacturing requirements.
• Manage Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and implementation plans.
• Monitor material availability, resolve shortages, and support production execution.
• Release and manage work orders while ensuring planning accuracy.
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to meetcustomer requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement of planning processes across global manufacturing sites.
• This position focuses on products such as racks, cabinets, mounts, and related assembliesrather than individual electronic components.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of material planning, production planning, or supply chain planning experiencein a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with Oracle, SAP, or similar ERP systems.
• Strong knowledge of MRP, BOM management, ECO implementation, and productionplanning.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Preferred

• Experience in contract manufacturing or high-mix manufacturing environments.
• Experience supporting multiple manufacturing sites.
• Oracle Rapid Response (Kinaxis) experience.
• APICS/ASCM certification (CPIM, CSCP, etc.).
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field preferred
