YOUR NEXT OPPORTUNITY:

This position is based onsite in the San Francisco Bay Area and requires a daily in-office/project-site presence. Candidates must either reside in the area or be willing to relocate. Remote or hybrid work arrangements are not available for this role.

The Senior Project Scheduler serves as the Lead Scheduler for assigned projects and is ultimately responsible for driving the development, maintenance, and successful implementation of project schedules. This individual partners closely with both Site Project Management and Corporate Leadership to provide regular updates on project health, schedule performance, key milestones, and overall project vitality.

The Senior Project Scheduler proactively identifies potential delays, risks, and schedule impacts before they affect project execution, developing mitigation and recovery plans to keep projects on track. This role is also responsible for ensuring compliance with all contractual scheduling requirements and supporting internal and external project stakeholders in developing work-around strategies that recover lost time and improve overall project completion timelines.

Success in this role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to influence project teams through open, clear, and consistent communication. The Senior Project Scheduler must be highly collaborative, capable of working onsite daily with project teams, and committed to driving schedule certainty across complex construction projects.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Follow both site specific and corporate schedule initiatives

  • Create and maintain the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)

  • Create, update and maintain electrical construction schedule

  • Qualify GC schedule submissions

  • Monitor relationships, constraints and milestones

  • Review critical path, cost loading, schedule content

  • Review, create and modify work breakdown structures (WBS)

  • Review schedule content, provide comparison schedule reports

  • Prepare site and or corporate specific schedule reports

  • Create and maintain Resource Loaded Schedules

  • Working knowledge and practical application of EVM (Earn Value Management) Scheduling

  • Schedule Change Management

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

  • Effective oral and written communication skills as required for the position

  • Advanced knowledge of Primavera P6

  • Have demonstrated skill in identifying, analyzing and solving problems

  • Proficient in using a computer and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, changing priorities as necessary

  • Ability to work under time pressure and adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitude

  • Ability to be self-motivated, proactive and an effective team player

  • Ability to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of employees, both management and staff alike, vendors, clients, and others

WHAT YOU BRING TO US:
  • High School Diploma, College Degree is a plus

  • Minimum 10 years of experience as a Construction Scheduler utilizing Primavera P6

TRAVEL:
  • Minimum 10% (Travel to job sites and other satellite office when necessary)

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • General work environment - sitting for long periods, standing, walking, typing, carrying, pushing, bending. Work is conducted primarily indoors with varying environmental conditions such as fluorescent lighting and air conditioning

  • Noise level is usually low to medium; it can be loud on the jobsite.

  • Occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs.

Pay Range

$136,900.00-$179,700.00 Annual

The pay range for this role is what we expect to pay for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this job description. Candidate's pay can vary based on location, job-related experience, skills, and education.
