Payroll Administrator II

Ensure the coordination and administration of the biweekly payroll for all companies within the CNB umbrella. Coordinate payroll processing operations, including submission, balancing, report distribution, check printing, managing electronic interfaces, remittance of federal and state taxes, and related reconciliation and analysis.

Compensation & Benefits:

Estimated Starting Salary Range for Payroll Administrator II: Pay commensurate with experience.

Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.

Payroll Administrator II Responsibilities Include:

  • Manages garnishment processing, ensuring compliance with all state and federal laws.
  • Responds to inquiries from employees, creditors, and child support agencies and set up, maintain, and reconcile files.
  • Manages the bi-weekly processing of payroll for all companies and pay groups. Verifies wage and tax calculations. Assists with federal and state tax reporting and accounting requirements of all related activities.
  • Provides information, advice, and recommendations to payroll inquiries.
  • Collaborates cross functionally with departments for process improvements and efficiencies.
  • Administrators report distribution.
  • Oversees check printing.
  • Manages electronic interfaces.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Payroll Administrator II Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED); degreed program preferred.
  • 5 years of related experience, including 3 years of experience working with an HR Management System; Oracle Fusion payroll preferred.
  • 5 years of comprehensive payroll experience.
  • Experience processing large (2000+) payrolls
  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.
