What to Expect

Tesla is seeking a motivated Project Manager to join our Semiconductor Component Supplier Industrialization team. In this role, you will lead qualification and industrialization projects for silicon components, manage timelines and deliverables, and coordinate with internal teams and external suppliers. You will provide project support to cross functional team and engage with semiconductor companies to help enforce Tesla's technical and commercial requirements.

You will drive cross-functional projects from qualification through system integration, using strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills to keep initiatives on track. Apply project management best practices, data analysis, and attention to detail to resolve challenges and deliver results in a fast-paced environment. New graduates with relevant internship experience are encouraged to apply.


What You'll Do
  • Lead end-to-end component qualification and integration projects, working with internal engineering teams to manage timelines, resources, and deliverables
  • Provide guidance to the Component Supply Chain Manager on qualification processes, supplier activities, and compliance tracking
  • Coordinate with semiconductor suppliers to ensure alignment with Tesla's requirements and project milestones
  • Perform data analysis and reporting using MS Excel and scripting tools to track progress, identify risks, and support continuous improvement
  • Organize and facilitate cross-functional internal teams to address project challenges throughout the product cycle
  • Support qualification reviews, and supplier audits to help drive process improvements and compliance
  • Manage project ramps, issue tracking, and bring-up activities under tight deadlines with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to implement preventive measures and quality improvements

What You'll Bring
  • Degree in engineering field, or equivalent experience
  • 0-2 years of experience; new graduates with relevant internships in project management, supply chain, engineering coordination, or semiconductor-related projects are welcome
  • Demonstrated project management skills, including the ability to drive initiatives, manage timelines, and coordinate across teams
  • Experience (through internships or coursework) supporting supply chain or supplier-facing activities is a plus
  • Proficiency in MS Excel (or similar tools) for data analysis, tracking, and reporting, with basic scripting skills (e.g., Python or VBA) a plus
  • Excellent presentation, communication, organizational, and analytical skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments, manage multiple priorities, and travel up to 30% (international and domestic)

    Expected Compensation
    $84,000 - $324,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits

    Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
