SCOPE AND REPORTING
The Senior SLW Ambassador applies all key skills, competencies, and responsibilities outlined in this job description to effectively serve their market(s). They provide leadership to Community Relations Functional Managers (CRFM), Social Media Ambassadors (SMA), and the Region's Love & Impact Council. The role reports directly to their Community Bank President(s), with a dotted line reporting relationship to the Director of SLW Integration (SLWI), ensuring seamless collaboration and alignment with organizational goals.

SUMMARY

The Senior SLW Ambassador spearheads community-focused initiatives, ensuring alignment with First United's brand promise. Responsibilities include coordinating events, conducting on-site education courses, and collaborating with local organizations. Internally, they drive new business growth through diverse activities while overseeing SLW Lobby elements, stakeholder training, and community room calendars. As a liaison between the community bank, they receive support from the Director of SLWI, their Community Bank President(s), SLW Team, Marketing, and Retail Management.

KEY SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

An exceptional ability to communicate the overarching SLW strategy in a voice that's strong, clear, and focused. Strong business acumen. Ability to measure and then take conclusions from data and communicate and present actionable insights to leadership and business executives.

* Highly Adaptable: Comfortable with ambiguity and changing priorities. A continuous learner that is ready to push the organization into new areas and challenge the status quo.

* Collaboration and Influence: High EQ. Excellent communication skills, the ability to compromise and the desire to work with skill sets across the entire organization. Will be expected to lead teams that include team members with more senior titles.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Ambassador Duties

*Model Leadership: Actively embody and demonstrate SLW values and pillars in daily interactions and decisions. Inspire others to align with these principles.

*Strategic Collaboration: Work with Community Bank President(s) to craft and execute localized SLW strategies, ensuring alignment with overall organizational goals while addressing unique market needs. Support and facilitate all corporate initiatives from the Director of SLWI.
*Relationship Building: Establish, cultivate, and sustain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to foster trust and collaboration.
*Event Management: Design and deliver enriched, engaging, and educational SLW events that resonate with stakeholders. Manage all aspects of event logistics, including planning, setup, and execution.
*Facility Oversight: Oversee the management of SLW Lounges, ensuring they meet quality and engagement standards. Manage Community Room bookings, maintain appearance, and coordinate setup.
*Project Leadership: Lead projects from concept to completion, ensuring deliverables are met on time, within budget, and according to scope.
*Stakeholder Communication: Prepare and deliver comprehensive monthly reports, highlighting progress, milestones, and deliverables to Director of SLWI and Community Bank President(s), ensuring clear and effective communication.
*Internal Collaboration: Partner with colleagues across various departments to align efforts, share resources, and achieve collective goals.
*Community Engagement: Promote SLW pillars and initiatives through outreach, community events, and strategic partnerships. Attend conferences and networking events to expand the organization's visibility and reach.
*Volunteer Coordination: Recruit, manage, and mentor volunteers for events, CRFM, and Love & Impact Councils. Serve as a leader and advisor for CRFMs, Love & Impact Councils, and Social Media Ambassadors, ensuring alignment with SLW objectives.
*Communications: Develop and distribute a monthly newsletter to communicate SLW initiatives, activities, and opportunities. Actively promote the benefits of SLW pillars to stakeholders.
*Training & Development: Participate in training and professional development activities to enhance skills and knowledge. Share insights with the team to improve SLW strategies and execution.
*Resource Management: Evaluate and process sponsorship, partnership, and donation requests to ensure they represent one or more SLW Pillars. Coordinate promotional items, ad content, and other materials needed to support SLW initiatives.

Community Reinvestment Duties:

*Utilize annual Key Purpose Indicator data to identify and target specific Spend Life Wisely impact and initiatives.
*Partner with Community Bank President(s) in the development of an effective marketing program for their community bank.
*Assist Community Bank President(s) in facilitating the Stagen Foundational Leadership Course (FLC).
*Stay informed about changes in banking regulations and industry trends to ensure compliance with and mitigate risks effectively.
*Partner with community organizations to meet financial literacy outreach goals.
*Host market events to target specific sectors of the community.
*Generate referrals from community leaders and business contacts to further grow the Community Banks' customer base. Document calls, feedback, events, and all referrals in Salesforce. Follow up with event attendees. Connect referrals, customers, or prospective customers with appropriate bank representatives.
*Complete all necessary documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

Marketing & Media Duties:
*Support the implementation of the Community Bank President(s)' marketing plan.
*Manage the public image and brand reputation of the bank. Act as a local spokesperson with the media.
*Craft messaging, coordinate media relations efforts, and leverage various communication channels to disseminate information effectively.
*Develop and execute a strategic communication plan to build brand awareness, enhance public perception, and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders.
*Expand community engagement creating high visibility to local FB page and other social media.
*Ensure implementation of bank-wide marketing efforts at local levels.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESONSIBILITIES

* Adhere to all First United Policies and Procedures.
* Successfully uphold and support Key Purpose Indicators.
* Complete all required compliance exams on an annual basis.
* Recommend to leadership possible methods of improvement.
* Perform other related duties as required and assigned.

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE

* Bachelor's degree in business, finance, marketing, or related field.
* Two to three years' work experience in a related field.
* Sales or Marketing experience preferred.
* Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication abilities, sales, and public relations skills.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

*Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills.
*Ability to work effectively and with flexibility in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
*Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

*Experience in event planning and coordination.
*Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends as required by schedule.
