POSITION SUMMARY

Under limited supervision, lead a team in providing service to the customer base at various site locations or service centers. Conduct routine maintenance, troubleshooting procedures, removal and replacement of defective parts, and installation of parts. Each Site Lead shall be expected to provide/coordinate support as required for technical issues, transfer of knowledge, and on-site escalations. Schedule personnel responding to critical situations. Maintain communication with engineering management and specialists in resolving technical problems and/or bringing problems to the department's attention. Select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS



  • Lead a team as they service pumps and other Ebara products at customer site or service center to include all contracted preventative and unscheduled maintenance, installations and start-ups, and cooler or trap cleans. Track on-site pump customer base, pump shipping and receiving, spare pumps and parts. (Essential)
  • Order, expedite, and notify the customer or management when a replacement is necessary. Maintain and replace equipment, tools, and supplies used directly for the service of pumps. (Essential)
  • Provide documentation of preventative maintenance, downtime, pump issues, and time spent preparing reports for pump movement and justification for on-site service. Travel to various locations of assigned customers. (Essential)
  • Supervise assigned service or field service personnel, requiring the ability to effectively communicate. Conduct new employee training and enforcement of departmental procedures. (Essential)
  • Responsible for resolving service personnel-related discipline issues. (Essential)

  • Act as a coach and mentor to employees in the department. (Essential)
  • Work on problems of a highly complex scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of identifiable factors. Investigate alternate component technologies or supplies, reducing cost and improving quality and reliability. (Essential)
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment compliant with EBARA safety policies. (Essential)
  • Comply with EBARA safety policies, including participation in and completion of all required safety training. (Essential)

Education



  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electro Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent technical experience in an engineered product industry.


Experience



  • Four (4) to six (6) years' work-related experience in the semiconductor process industry or related area.
  • One (1) or more years' experience managing or supervising people.
  • Knowledge of Supplier products and semiconductor manufacturing technology to a level that enables technical discussions to be held with engineers and engineering group leaders and the buyer.
  • Strong Customer Relations skills.


SKILLS & ABILITIES



  • Working knowledge of MS Office products including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Sufficient PC skills to manage information and to prepare reports and presentations without support.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to collaborate and work effectively with internal colleagues and customers.
  • Demonstrated leadership and program management.
  • Demonstrated teamwork and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated excellent written and oral communication skills.
