Position Overview

This is a highly visible, enterprise-wide role reporting directly to the Chief of Staff. The individual will serve as a critical partner in coordinating strategic planning, supporting the execution of key initiatives, and enabling senior leadership effectiveness.

Acting as a connective force across business lines, this role ensures alignment, clarity, and forward momentum on the organization's most important priorities. The position requires a strong blend of strategic thinking, financial acumen, analytical rigor, and executive communication skills.

The ideal candidate is equally comfortable analyzing data, developing executive-level materials, and embedding within initiatives to drive progress and measure results.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning & Execution

  • Play a central role in the development and execution of the bank's multi-year strategic plans.
  • Partner with business leaders to shape, refine, and align strategic priorities across the organization.
  • Evaluate and challenge strategic initiatives to ensure they are actionable, measurable, and aligned with enterprise objectives.
  • Track progress against key priorities and help drive accountability for results.

Enterprise Initiatives & Project Leadership

  • Lead and support high-impact, cross-functional initiatives critical to enterprise success.
  • Embed within key initiatives to accelerate execution and ensure progress against defined goals.
  • Coordinate efforts across business lines to drive alignment in strategy development and implementation.

Executive Communications & Storytelling

  • Develop executive-level presentations, memos, and Board-ready materials.
  • Translate complex data and concepts into clear, compelling narratives that inform decision-making.
  • Partner closely with senior leaders to refine messaging and ensure strategic clarity.

Financial & Analytical Insights

  • Analyze financial performance, business metrics, and operational data to support strategic decision-making.
  • Interpret results and identify key drivers of performance, risks, and opportunities.
  • Establish frameworks and identify data requirements to effectively evaluate business initiatives.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build strong, trusted relationships across the organization, including senior leadership.
  • Facilitate discussions and working sessions to align priorities and drive outcomes.
  • Serve as a collaborative partner across functions, promoting transparency and alignment.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in strategic planning, management consulting, banking, or corporate strategy
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field strongly preferred
  • Experience supporting or leading strategic planning efforts, preferably within financial services or commercial banking
  • Proven ability to work across multiple business lines on complex, enterprise-level initiatives
  • Experience supporting senior executives, including preparation of materials for high-level strategic discussions.
  • Demonstrated experience building and tracking KPIs, dashboards, and performance metrics.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with and influence senior executives, leading discussions with clarity, confidence, and strategic insight.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel (data analysis and reporting), PowerPoint (executive presentations), and Microsoft Teams (collaboration and communication).
  • Proven ability to lead or support enterprise transformation or change initiatives
