About Salesforce

Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn't a buzzword - it's a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.

Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You're in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.

Strategy & Analytics plays a critical role for the Global Solutions Center of Excellence (CoE) to help evolve the Solutions Organization into the next generation of talent, drive alignment between Product and Sales, and accelerate Salesforce's path to $60B.
As we invest in a data-driven approach to Solution Engineering, measuring and communicating impact is critical. The Senior Manager, Solution Engineering CoE will serve as a senior analytical leader and strategic voice for the Solutions Engineering organization, owning the insights, frameworks, and narratives that shape how leadership understands and invests in the SE function.
This individual will define and drive the analytical agenda for Solutions Engineering, building the data infrastructure and executive-ready storytelling that connects SE activity to business outcomes. You will develop and own a clear point of view on SE performance, impact of AI on performance, organizational effectiveness, and regularly bring that perspective to Solutions CoE and executive leadership to inform strategic decisions.
Key Responsibilities

  • Analytics Framework & Infrastructure: Define the 'single source of truth' strategy for Solution Engineering data in partnership with the Global Analytics team. As the business continues to evolve, you'll own the design and governance of the datasets, views, and data pipelines required to track SE program performance at scale.
  • Reporting & Dashboarding: Architect and own scalable dashboards (Tableau, CRM Analytics) as well as MCP datasets that deliver real-time visibility into program health for stakeholders from operational leads to executive leadership.
  • SE Performance Insights: Own the analytical narrative around Solutions Engineering activity and outcomes, surfacing trends in productivity, pipeline influence, and engagement. Develop and maintain a clear point of view on how SE activity correlates with deal outcomes (conversion rates, cycle time, ACV) to validate and communicate organizational impact.
  • Tools & AI Enablement Analytics: Lead analytics for the Solutions Tools Program, developing a perspective on adoption trends and the business impact of AI-assisted workflows. Drive data-backed investment and enablement recommendations to leadership.
  • Strategic Recommendations: Translate complex data into actionable, executive-ready insights. Own the analytical input into investment planning, resource optimization, and organizational strategy for the Solutions CoE.
  • Business Reviews: Lead the development of data narratives and presentations for Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and executive updates, with direct accountability for data accuracy and strategic framing.
  • G4G: Own global Solutions capacity modeling and deliver GTM and headcount recommendations to operating units with a clear analytical rationale.
  • Process Optimization: Identify and resolve systemic gaps in data collection and operational processes, driving improvements that increase data quality and reliability across the organization.

Skills/Expertise Required

  • Executive Presence & Communication: Ability to synthesize complex analytical findings into clear, compelling narratives for senior and executive audiences. Comfortable presenting to and influencing VP+ stakeholders, with strong written and verbal communication skills that instill confidence and drive alignment.
  • Data Visualization & Storytelling: Deep proficiency in Tableau and CRM Analytics/Einstein Analytics. Ability to shape executive narratives through data and deliver them clearly via slide presentations (Google Slides/PowerPoint).
  • AI Tooling: Experience with Claude Code, Gemini, Cursor, ChatGPT, or equivalent tools to accelerate analysis and tool development.
  • Analytical Rigor: 7-10+ years of experience in quantitative analysis, business operations, strategy, or a related field. Proven ability to structure ambiguous problems, develop a point of view, and drive data-backed decisions at the leadership level.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong experience aggregating and manipulating datasets using SQL, SOQL, or similar tools. Proficiency in Snowflake for data querying and exploration is required. Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets is required. Experience with Claude, Codex, Cursor, or other similar AI tools
  • Operational Business Acumen: Ability to connect data to business outcomes and speak credibly to senior stakeholders about organizational performance. Exposure to Sales Operations, Sales Strategy, or a Solutions Engineering environment is a strong plus.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Proven ability to align technical teams (IT, Data Science) and senior non-technical stakeholders (Sales/Solutions Leadership) around a common analytical agenda.
  • Self-Starter: High degree of intellectual curiosity and executive presence. Comfortable operating independently in ambiguous environments and driving initiatives from conception to delivery.
  • Desired Experience:
    • Hands-on experience with Tableau for dashboard development and data storytelling is highly preferred.
    • Hands-on experience with Snowflake for data querying and pipeline support is highly preferred.
    • Experience with Salesforce object architecture and reporting is a strong plus.
    • Background in management consulting, finance, sales strategy, or solutions engineering is preferred.
