About the Role The SVP, Technology and AI Innovation is the Credit Union's senior engineering and innovation leader, responsible for turning strategy into shipped capabilities at speed. This role builds the Credit Union Intelligent Operating System and applies AI-driven innovation and automation to create meaningful outcomes for members, employees, and the business. The role leads development team directly and drives results through strong matrix leadership across infrastructure, architecture, enterprise data, and business partners. What You'll Do Enterprise, People & Culture Leadership
- Partners with the President/CEO and Strategic Leadership Team to support longterm strategic planning, annual business planning, and execution of Boardapproved initiatives.
- Translates vision into execution by establishing governance, milestones, and accountability for largescale initiatives and transformations.
- Builds organizational structures and decision frameworks that support scalability, resiliency, and regulatory expectations.
- Articulates a clear, longterm strategic direction that guides decisionmaking, prioritization of resources, and execution across areas of responsibility.
- Models and reinforces the Credit Union's values, ethical standards, and expectations for performance and accountability.
- Represents the Credit Union with regulators, external auditors, financial partners, and vendors, maintaining professional, transparent, and credible relationships.
Cross-Department Partnership
- Translate business priorities into executable roadmaps and measurable outcomes.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to build intelligent solutions to simplify business workflows
- Partner with Digital Platforms & Architecture to align delivery with platform direction and standards.
- Partner with Enterprise Banking Technology to integrate platform capabilities with core systems of record.
- Partner with Enterprise Data to ensure AI and automation initiatives are powered by trusted data.
- Partner with Digital Workspace to ensure tools and workflows support adoption and modern delivery.

Credit Union Operating System - Product & Platform Delivery
- Own the roadmap and delivery of the Credit Union Intelligent Operating System, translating enterprise priorities into shipped capabilities.
- Build member and employee-centered solutions that simplify workflows and improve experiences.
- Establish APIs and integration patterns that enable scalable internal and ecosystem-based solutions.
- Create delivery rhythms that connect strategy, execution, and measurable outcomes.
- Build reusable platform services that reduce delivery friction and accelerate innovation.
AI-Driven Innovation, Agents, and Intelligent Automation
- Identify and scale AI and automation opportunities that reduce manual work and cycle time.
- Design and operationalize agentic workflows that improve productivity, knowledge access, and business execution.
- Create repeatable patterns with guardrails, monitoring, and continuous improvement loops.
- Modernize the software delivery lifecycle using AI-assisted tools, rapid prototyping, and automation.
- Partner with Enterprise Data to ensure AI and analytics are powered by trusted, governed data.
Modern Engineering Excellence (DevSecOps, Quality, and Reliability)
- Establish and champion modern engineering practices, including CI/CD, automated testing, infrastructure as code, and embedded security.
- Strengthen platform engineering and site reliability capabilities to improve developer experience and resilience.
- Establish observability, incident response, and recovery practices that reduce operational risk.
Infrastructure & Platform Engineering Guidance
- Guide infrastructure and platform capabilities in a matrix structure to enable rapid, secure delivery.
- Ensure infrastructure scales to support modern workloads, automation, and AI-enabled services.

- Performs additional duties or responsibilities as required, requested, or deemed appropriate.
- May be asked to provide coverage in other WCU departments, functions, or business units as needed.

What You Bring Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field required; advanced degree preferred.
Experience
- Minimum of 12-15 years of progressive technology leadership experience, including significant experience leading software engineering, platform delivery, enterprise transformation, or digital product development.
- Minimum of 5-7 years in a senior leadership role with responsibility for enterprise-scale strategy, execution, and team leadership.
- Experience leading in a highly regulated environment, such as financial services, banking, fintech, insurance, or another industry with strong compliance, security, and risk expectations.

Compensation: Pay Grade: 18 FLSA Status: Exempt Pay Grade Range: $118,113 - $250,817 Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted pay grade range based on factors such as relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, licensure requirements and/or skill level, and will be finalized at the time of offer.
