Description

In this role you will develop new sales opportunities to drive pipeline growth. This role involves prospecting C-level executives, executing multi-touch outreach strategies, leveraging tools like LinkedIn, and positioning Purolator as an industry leader. This role gains access to high-value sales targets and transitions them to sellers to close.

We are open to candidates based in major cities across the Mountain and Central regions, including Milwaukee, Phoenix, Salt Lake City, Albuquerque, Dallas-Fort Worth, Austin, Houston, San Antonio, Oklahoma City, Lincoln, Kansas City, St. Louis, Chicago, Des Moines, Cedar Rapids, Little Rock, Jackson, and Nashville.

The schedule would be Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm in your respective time zone.

Responsibilities

What You Will Be Doing

  • Develop new sales opportunities to drive pipeline volume, value and velocity
  • Conduct research to build prospect lists and tailor access messaging
  • Utilize prospecting tools like ZoomInfo and LinkedIn
  • Execute multi-touch sales cadences to gain access to decision-makers, including C-suite, through phone, email and social
  • Prospect medium to large businesses including Fortune 500 companies, and multinational conglomerates
  • Attend virtual customer meetings, perform needs analysis and transition opportunities to closers
  • Position Purolator and yourself as industry thought leaders with the use of marketing content and social selling techniques
  • Strongly communicate Purolator's value propositions and market leadership
  • Become a subject matter expert in North American logistics and the target verticals we sell into (Healthcare, Technology, Industrial)
  • Nurture current, closed, and future opportunities to maintain top-of-funnel health
  • Collaborate with marketing on digital and account-based marketing campaign response
  • Meet performance expectations and Key Performance Indicators for opportunity development
  • Uphold pipeline compliance and Salesforce data integrity
Experience

Who Are You?

  • 5+ years in a hunter, sales development, or business development role
  • Proven success in penetrating new business accounts and working with C-level contacts
  • Background in commissionable and/or performance-driven incentivised roles
  • Very strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strategic thinker with a creative approach to sales targets
  • Ability to diagnose business challenges and position solutions as strategic enablers rather than just services
  • Proficiency in researching company priorities, pain points, and decision-making structures
  • Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment

Required:

  • Experience with CRM databases, LinkedIn Social Selling, MS Office (Excel & PowerPoint), and virtual meeting software
  • Associate degree in a related field
  • Sales-related professional development or on-the-job training
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
