What to Expect
The Dining Room Attendant maintains cleanliness, organization, and guest comfort across all dining and common areas, protecting the Tesla Diner guest experience through high standards and proactive support. This role is centered on anticipatory service - continuously monitoring the dining room to proactively address guest needs before they arise.

What You'll Do
  • Regularly sanitize tables, chairs, and high-touch surfaces throughout the shift to uphold cleanliness and health standards
  • Conduct routine restroom inspections to ensure cleanliness and proper supply levels are consistently maintained
  • Promptly clear, sanitize, and reset tables upon guest departure to ensure seamless seating transitions
  • Provide cross-functional support to service stations during peak periods to maintain operational flow
  • Proactively monitor and manage waste disposal to maintain a clean and presentable dining environment
  • Execute a thorough end-of-shift deep cleaning checklist to uphold facility standards for the next service period
  • Support delivery order coordination and serve as a knowledgeable point of contact for guest inquiries

What You'll Bring
  • Minimum 18 years old with prior experience in a high-volume restaurant (FOH, BOH, or both) preferred
  • Adaptable, proactive, and team-oriented with a willingness to support any department without hesitation
  • Ability to manage competing priorities efficiently without compromising service quality
  • Friendly and professional demeanor with strong interpersonal skills and basic menu and food allergy knowledge
  • Quick learner who identifies and addresses potential service gaps before they impact the guest experience
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs., and move efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays, and rotating 8-hour shifts

    Expected Compensation
    $15.16 - $22.74/hour + cash and stock awards + benefits

    Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
