Supply Chain Manager, Power Semiconductor Components

We are looking for a Supply Chain Manager for wide band-gap Power Semiconductor Components to drive ournext generation of highly efficient power conversion systems and devices across all our Vehicle, Energy, andRobotics products and deliver results in highly innovative and fast paced environment. This position will focuson leading one of the most strategic categories and include managing a global supply base of wide-bandgapsilicon commodities (SiC, GaN, etc), developing, and owning supplier and partner relationships, defining thecategory and supply base strategy, management and negotiation of Supply Agreements and related contractualexecution activities. An ideal candidate will have high ambition to grow within Tesla and bring highenergy/impact to succeed in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated ability to successfully navigate throughambiguities/difficult obstacles through collection of facts & data, advanced planning, evaluation ofalternatives, open-mindedness, thought-through strategy, and superior communications to lead cross-functionalorganizations through sourcing activities.

• Own RFI's & RFQ's - ensuring all commercial and technical terms are agreed and documented
• Ensure contracts (NDA, multiparty NDAs, General Terms, Statements of Work, etc.) are drafted, negotiated, and executed well with key supplier partners
• Manage OSAT and IDM relationships for our next generation power devices, covering sample builds, tooling, commercial terms, capacity and demand planning, and mass production ramps across Tesla product categories
• Drive continual cost reduction and cost avoidance initiatives through price negotiations
• Cover all areas of commodity management including business plans, market intelligence, technology roadmaps, cost modeling, and sourcing strategies
• Manage supplier relationships and performance, including but not limited to dispute resolution supplier scorecards, periodic business reviews, and executive engagement
• Participate in DFM reviews, change control meetings, and other technical discussions with
• Engineering and SIE partners and drive decisions from a cost and supply perspective

• Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Computer Engineering, etc.) or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience in Electrical System Design and Architecture, Silicon Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related technical field
• Experience in Supply Chain Management, Sourcing, Business Development, Strategic Deal Making and Negotiation
• Deep understanding of electrical systems and architectures and an innate desire to learn and drive strategies that keep Tesla at the forefront of power efficiency and reliability
• Strong understanding of costing concepts, i.e., cost reduction strategies, cost modeling etc.
• Experience in supplier evaluation/selection and strong contract negotiation skills
• Experience building relationships with engineering, product management, and other cross- functionalpartners and drive discussions around optimization of technical specifications, and features vs. valuetrade-offs
