Position Highlights

This entry-level Administrative role within the Division of HR supports a wide range of day-to-day operational tasks, including scheduling meetings, coordinating events, arranging travel, and assisting with Zoom meeting hosting and video editing. The position is responsible for processing employment-related record requests such as verifications, PSLF, and unemployment documentation, while also greeting walk-ins and responding to or triaging HR-related inquiries through email systems like Trellis. Additional duties include maintaining supply inventory and placing orders, managing Pcard purchases, performing data entry, tracking tasks and projects in Monday.com, and preparing various HR documents to support team functions.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Answer front door and help with employee walk ins benefits' questions or direct to the person who can help.
  • Schedule appointments, interviews, meetings, and conferences.
  • Help with routine travel reservations and itineraries.
  • Order food for meetings and help with room set up.
  • Help with general office duties - supply inventory and ordering, process Pcard transactions.
  • May assist with various projects and tasks as needed.
  • Process record requests like employment verification and PSLF requests and assist with processing and storing documents in DocuWare.
  • Check mail and scan documents for records.
  • Track and process employee unemployment claims in collaboration with the outside vendor. Reach out to employees' supervisors across campus to get answers to unemployment questions that cannot be answered without their input.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities (KSAs):

  • Knowledge of Monday.com or similar cloud-based Work Operating System.
  • Knowledge of and ability to use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or high school diploma equivalency is required.
