The Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) Systems Division delivers mission-critical solutions, specializing in cyber operations, information architecture, strategic deterrence, and ISR. Key Responsibilities:

  • Supports the development, monitoring, and troubleshooting of data pipelines and processes
  • Assists with development of automated hardware and software test procedures
  • Assists with assembly, test, and validation of electrical hardware
  • Creates and maintains documentation
  • Collaborates with hardware and software engineers on ongoing projects, actively participating in team meetings and contributes to assigned tasks
  • Supports testing, debugging, and issue resolution for hardware and software, documenting problems, and applying fixes
  • Proactively engages in learning new tools, technologies, and concepts to develop technical skills and contribute effectively
Required Qualifications:
  • Must be a Utah State University student pursuing a degree/certification in electrical engineering, computer engineering,computer science, or a related field with a minimum of 3 years remaining in school
  • Candidates should have some familiarity in one or more of the following: reading and understandingelectronic schematics, hardware and software test and troubleshooting procedures, computer networking, working with and programming FPGAs, and programming in Python, C, C++, and/or JavaScript
  • Must be able to work effectively; both independently and as a team member
  • Good communications skills, both written and verbal are essential
  • Must be able to work 15-20 hours per week during semesters and up to 40 hours per week during summers
  • The successful candidate must be able to obtain a DoW security clearance; eligibility requirements include U.S. citizenship
