Location: Hematology & Oncology Associates of FredericksburgPay Range: $22.48 - $39.53 Hematology Oncology Associates of Fredericksburg (HOAF) is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to support our oncology practice through medication preparation, inventory management, and coordination of specialty pharmaceutical needs. The ideal candidate will possess strong compounding skills, a commitment to patient safety, and experience working in a fast-paced clinical environment. At HOAF, we prioritize patient convenience and comfort by offering an in-house pharmacy to meet most of their medication needs. Our onsite pharmacy is equipped to provide not only their primary cancer treatments, but also essential supportive medications. Position Summary:Maintains the ordering and stocking of medications and supplies as needed in the clinic. Under supervision of appropriate licensed healthcare professional as defined by State regulations, prepares and mixes medications. Coordinates with drug sales representatives, and pharmaceutical companies to obtain samples, teaching aids, and compassionate drugs. Acts as liaison between Physicians, Nursing, Pharmacy Supervisor and Purchasing in obtaining special order medications. Key Performance Areas:1. Medication Preparation & Dispensing
