Job Summary: The Instructional Designer, Aesthetics Education is responsible for designing, structuring, and optimizing learning experiences, educational frameworks, and practical training resources across SkinCeuticals and skinbetter science. Reporting to the Vice President, Education, LDB Aesthetics, this role focuses on adult learning principles, curriculum architecture, and educational program design to ensure healthcare professionals and aesthetic practitioners engage with effective, well-structured professional development pathways. The ideal candidate applies pedagogical expertise to translate clinical and product information into logical, engaging, and impactful learning journeys and tools for diverse professional audiences. Content Creation & Production
* Adapt content tone, complexity, and format to serve multiple audiences including dermatologists, plastic surgeons, aesthetic nurses, PAs, medical spas, aestheticians, and end consumers Performance Measurement & Evaluation
Required Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Education, or a related field; esthetician license a plus * 4+ years of experience in instructional design, curriculum development, or learning experience design, ideally within medical devices, pharma, aesthetics, or professional training environments * Deep understanding of adult learning theories, instructional design models, and curriculum architecture * Experience designing structured learning pathways and professional development programs * Proficiency in English; additional languages a plus Skills & Competencies: Technical Skills * Expertise in translating complex, technical information into structured, easy-to-navigate learning frameworks and practical tools * Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and digital learning platforms * Experience navigating MLR (Medical-Legal-Regulatory) review processes * Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple curricula and resource timelines Soft Skills * Deep passion for skincare science and the professional aesthetics industry * Exceptional writing versatility, clinical precision and consumer-friendly storytelling in equal measure * Strong brand sensibility, ability to honor two distinct brand voices within a unified workflow * Collaborative and relationship-driven with internal and external stakeholders * Analytical and data-informed approach to content decisions * Detail-oriented with a strong focus on the learner experience and pedagogical structure Why Join L'Oreal Dermatological Beauty: * Shape the future of professional education and learning architecture for industry-leading aesthetic brands * Work at the intersection of adult education, clinical science, and premium skincare * Collaborate with top-tier educators and medical professionals * Be part of a global leader in beauty and health with unmatched resources and innovation | |
