THE ROLE

TheProgram Manager - Value-Added Services (VAS)will reside within theGlobal Operations and Quality (GOQ)organization and play astrategic, supply chain-centric rolein shaping, scaling, and commercializing AMD's Value-Added Services portfolio. This role is foundational to how AMD leverages itssemiconductor supply chain,manufacturing, and operational capabilitiesto enable customer differentiation, win business, and create enterprise value.

This position goes beyond traditional program execution. The PM serves as aGOQ-facing business liaison, translatingsemiconductor supply chain realities-includingmanufacturingflows, sourcing constraints, risk mitigation, and customization opportunities-into scalable, customer-facing service offerings. The role requires the ability to operate horizontally across operations, business units, and customers, ensuring VAS strategies align withbusiness unit priorities, commercial objectives, and operational feasibility.

The PM partners closely with Business Units, Sales, Finance, Legal, and multiple GOQ teams todefine, position, and operationalize supply chain-enabled services. Success in this role depends on strong business acumen, executive presence, and the ability to influence across a highly matrixed semiconductor environment to drive alignment, governance, and disciplined execution.

The role operates with a high degree of independence and visibility, engaging internal and external stakeholders-including senior customer and supplier executives-to unlock new opportunities and strengthen AMD's VAS value proposition throughsupply chain-led solutions.

THE PERSON:

You are astrategic, business-oriented program leader with deep familiarity in semiconductor supply chain andmanufacturingenvironments. You are comfortable engaging senior executives, navigating ambiguity, and translating complex operational realities into clear, actionable strategies.

You combine strong executive communication skills with practical operational judgment. You can move fluidly betweencustomer-facing discussions, internal GOQ alignment, and supply chain ormanufacturingproblem-solving, bringing structure, creativity, and momentum to complex, fast-moving situations.

You are highly organized and execution-focused, but also forward-looking-able to identify where supply chain capabilities can be productized, where governance or tooling must evolve, and how operational insights can be transformed into differentiated, scalable services.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Leadstrategic execution of VAS programs rooted in semiconductor supply chain and operational capabilities, actively managing priorities, milestones, risks, and interdependencies in support of business objectives
  • Act as aGOQ liaison to Business Units, translatingmanufacturing, sourcing, and supply chain realities into customer- and business-facing service strategies
  • Drive integration of new product, customer, and business unit requirements into VASoperating models, execution frameworks, and supply chain-enabled offerings
  • Identify and advance opportunities to improveefficiency, scalability, and commercial impactacross the VAS portfolio through process maturity, governance, and tool development
  • Partner across GOQ, Business Units, Sales, Finance, Legal, and external stakeholders to align priorities, support negotiations, and strengthen execution discipline
  • Develop executive-ready materials that clearly articulatesupply chain implications, trade-offs, and value propositionsto support decision-making and strategic alignment

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Significant experience in semiconductor supply chain,manufacturing, sourcing, or operations, with demonstrated understanding of end-to-endmanufacturingflows and operational constraints
  • Proven track record leadingcross-functional, customer- and supplier-facing initiativesthat translate operational capabilities into strategic business outcomes
  • Experience insupply chain strategy,manufacturingstrategy, or sourcing strategy roles, rather than purely tactical planning or execution positions
  • Strong ability to influence across a highly matrixed organization, including senior operational, commercial, and executive stakeholders
  • Demonstrated comfort operating in ambiguous environments that requirecreative problem-solving, negotiation, and rapid decision-making

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred inEngineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field
  • Program or project management certification is desired
