Position Summary The Media Services Technician II is a support position that requires but is not limited to the following duties: setup and operate all video and audio equipment, (PC, laptops, tablets) and web conferencing equipment troubleshooting. Operate a wide variety of media equipment including computers, video cameras, audio recorders and other specialized equipment requiring significant training. Operate equipment during special events and provide support for the live broadcasts and the webcasts. Train users in operating media service's audio and visual equipment. Perform routine maintenance and basic repair of equipment. Collaborate with other departments as necessary. Availability to work evenings and/or weekends as needed is required for this position. Qualifications Required Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent Required Experience: 2+ years related experience Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Experience with and general understanding of professional video and audio production equipment. Experience with standard computer-based post production software. Excellent customer service and communications skills. Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Ability to multi-task and work in real time production high pressure environments. Additional Information In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the hourly rate for this position is USD $38.100. This rate is based on bargaining unit contracts. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
