Job Description




As a Security Officer Dispatch Driver in Carrollton, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Dispatch Officer at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor activity, coordinate communications, and support timely responses to security-related concerns. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. What You'll Do:

    Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Monitor dispatch communications, alarms, cameras, radios, and/or incoming calls to support timely awareness of incidents, maintenance issues, and other security-related concerns.
  • Coordinate the routing of calls, messages, and incident information to appropriate site personnel, first responders, and/or Allied Universal leadership in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations by documenting details, maintaining communication with field personnel, and helping to support orderly response actions.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter as needed, with working environments and conditions varying by location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
