Job Description




As a Security Officer Driving Role Patrol Agent in Milpitas, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as a driving Patrol Officer in a government transit location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support riders and staff with outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

    Provide customer service to visitors, riders, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a public transportation location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing details with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of transit facilities, platforms, stations, parking areas, office spaces, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, policy violations, and other security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and public areas to help control access, observe daily activity, and report maintenance issues, hazards, and/or suspicious behavior through proper channels.
  • Support a professional environment by following post orders, assisting with crowd and line management during peak periods or service disruptions, and helping to deter unauthorized activity through visible presence and routine patrols.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
  • A guard card/license is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
