OVERVIEW Provides prescribed medical treatment and personal care services to patients in the clinical setting by performing the following duties supporting the nursing philosophy. May be required to work alternate shifts and weekends as necessary at some clinic settings. Performs other duties as assigned. Schedule: 36-hours per week Shift: Days, Monday-Friday Location: Family Practice at Mercyhealth Whitewater, Whitewater, WI ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE Graduate of an accredited LPN Program OR Wisconsin: Have completed the portion of the RN Program needed to obtain a certificate of completion in practical nursing. Experience in clinical setting preferred. CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE Licensed as an LPN in the State of Practice LEVEL OF SUPERVISION This job has no supervisory responsibilities. Work is performed according to specific procedures and methods, but the incumbent must make minor decisions in order to adapt to routine situations. Medical Assistant Overview Provides support with the daily activities of a medical office by performing the following duties and other duties as assigned. May be required to work overtime during peak periods. Schedule: Monday-Thursday Shift: 7am-4:30pm Location: Whitewater Clinic Pay Range: $19.79-28.69 ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE Graduate of a medical assistant program accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) or the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP), or graduate of a medical assistant program in a post secondary school or college that has institutional accreditation by a regional accrediting commissionor by a national accrediting organization approved by the U.S. Department of Education,or a graduate of an educational program accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA), such as the National Healthcareer Association (NHA). Experience in a program with a clinical rotationpreferred. CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE Required current CMA certification through the AAMA (American Association of Medical Assistants) or RMA certification through the AMT (American Medical Technologists) or CCMA (Certified Clinical Medical Assistant) through NHA (National Healthcareer Association) or RMA through AAH (American Allied Health) or NCMA Certification through the NCCT that have also completed the education requirements.
