Job Summary
The Financial Analyst I is responsible for processing payments and supporting financial activities related to term deals and projects in development. This role will maintain financial data and project metadata within SAP while supporting payroll processing, reporting, reconciliations, and other finance-related administrative functions. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical abilities, excellent organizational skills, and proficiency in Excel. This is an onsite position with the potential for extension or conversion to a permanent role for the right candidate.

Job Responsibilities




  • Enter contractual obligations into the SAP financial system and maintain accurate project metadata



  • Process Cast & Crew payroll for the Animation division and support Film division payroll processing as needed



  • Calculate and process monthly producer overhead payments in accordance with contractual agreements



  • Submit employee set-up and termination documentation for term deal employees



  • Compile and process bi-weekly timecards and expense reports



  • Coordinate with payees during the vendor set-up process



  • Review and process invoices related to development projects and term deals



  • Prepare cost-to-date summaries and interest calculations as requested by business stakeholders



  • Assist in preparing supporting schedules for commitment management reporting



  • Manage travel credit card payments and perform monthly reconciliations



  • Prepare journal entries and maintain accurate financial records



  • Assist with calendar management for finance leadership as needed



  • Generate ad-hoc financial reports and provide additional administrative support as required




Job Requirements




  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field



  • Minimum of 2 years of Finance or Accounting experience



  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite



  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills



  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities



  • Effective written and verbal communication skills



  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks



  • Experience with SAP and/or Oracle preferred but not required
