Pay: $17.54 per hour

Job Summary
The Assembler I is responsible for assembling components, sub-assemblies, and final products according to established instructions and specifications. This role involves operating hand tools, power tools, and basic machinery while ensuring product quality through inspection and testing. The position requires attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to work efficiently in a manufacturing environment.

Job Responsibilities



  • Assemble components, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies according to instructions
  • Perform soldering and basic assembly tasks, including cutting, stripping, and forming wires and insulation
  • Load and unload materials, including contacts, conductors, and solder materials, for furnace brazing processes
  • Operate manufacturing equipment such as riveters, drill presses, belt sanders, grinders, and other machinery
  • Perform simple electrical and mechanical tests, including ground and dielectric testing
  • Inspect work for defects and report any issues with materials or equipment
  • Package finished products, including labeling and preparing cartons for shipment
  • Move materials as needed throughout the work area
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace
  • Follow instructions from supervisors or team leads and complete assigned tasks efficiently


Job Requirements



  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
  • Ability to work scheduled hours and maintain consistent attendance
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand and power tools
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery and production processes


Work Experience



  • Previous manufacturing or assembly experience preferred
