Position Overview
The Inventory Coordinator is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting material flow operations within a manufacturing or logistics environment. This role involves tracking materials received, stored, and issued while ensuring accuracy in inventory counts and documentation. The position requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Job Responsibilities




  • Compile and maintain records related to the quantity, cost, and type of materials received, stored, or issued



  • Requisition necessary supplies to support operational needs



  • Verify incoming materials against purchase orders and shipping documentation to identify discrepancies



  • Inspect received items and reject defective or damaged materials as required



  • Prepare and maintain inventory records and reports



  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies identified during inventory counts



  • Pull materials from stock according to established procedures



  • Receive and stock materials in designated storage locations



  • Maintain accurate data within inventory tracking systems



  • Work collaboratively with team members while maintaining a professional and positive work environment




Job Requirements




  • 1-2 years of experience with pulling materials from stock procedures



  • 1-2 years of experience with receiving and stocking procedures



  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory tracking systems



  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management



  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment



  • Strong organizational and communication skills
