Archive Document Data Entry Aide

We are digitizing a collection of letters, ledgers, and municipal records from 1850-1950. You will type selected information into a searchable database.

**Key duties: **
- Read handwritten or typed historical documents (highresolution scans provided).
- Extract dates (day, month, year) and standardize to YYYYMMDD format.
- Enter names of people, places, and organizations mentioned.
- Record document type (letter, receipt, deed, meeting minute).
- Enter a brief 10word summary of document content.
- Flag documents that are too faded or damaged to read.
- Maintain a daily target of 50-70 completed records.
