What this job involves:

Join JLL's dynamic Leasing Finance team in Dallas, TX as a Senior Financial Analyst, where you'll serve as a critical financial business partner to our Texas Region Leasing operations. In this high-impact role, you'll drive financial insights that shape strategic decisions, working closely with leadership teams to optimize performance across one of our most active markets. You'll combine analytical rigor with collaborative partnership, supporting everything from monthly P&L reviews to strategic planning initiatives. What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Serve as the primary financial business partner to Leasing teams across the Texas Region, building strong relationships with sales professionals and leadership while providing strategic financial guidance and analysis.
  • Lead monthly financial meetings with regional leadership, conducting comprehensive P&L reviews for each geographic team, analyzing actual revenue and expense results versus Plan and prior year performance, and identifying key trends and variances.
  • Produce accurate monthly financial statements with detailed variance analysis, including revenue schedules, labor reports, expense reviews, and team profitability analyses that inform business decisions and drive accountability.
  • Support the annual financial planning process and quarterly forecasts, collaborating with business leaders to develop realistic projections that align with strategic objectives and market conditions.
  • Manage the commission payment process to ensure timely and accurate calculations while maintaining an up-to-date transaction pipeline by obtaining and validating deal details from the leasing teams.
  • Oversee Accounts Receivable objectives by maintaining accurate records, conducting research on outstanding items, and reviewing Accounts Payable vouchers for accuracy and compliance with corporate guidelines.
  • Drive continuous improvement by collaborating with team members to develop efficient processes, identify automation opportunities, and simplify current workflows while maintaining data integrity and control standards.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, accounting, or related finance roles, preferably in a corporate or professional services environment.
  • Demonstrated excellence in financial analysis with strong ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and communicate insights clearly to both financial and non-financial audiences.
  • Self-starter mindset with proven ability to excel in fast-paced, customer service-oriented environments while managing multiple priorities and competing deadlines effectively.
  • Exceptional attention to detail balanced with strategic thinking ability to understand how individual transactions and metrics connect to broader business objectives.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High degree of proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, data analysis) and other Microsoft Office applications including PowerPoint and Word.
  • Experience with enterprise financial systems such as PeopleSoft, Oracle, or similar ERP platforms.
  • Background in commercial real estate, leasing operations, or professional services industries with understanding of revenue recognition and project-based accounting.
  • Experience supporting sales or revenue-generating teams with strong ability to translate financial information into actionable business insights for non-financial stakeholders.
  • Track record of process improvement initiatives including automation projects, system implementations, or workflow optimization that delivered measurable efficiency gains.
