"I can succeed as a Global Safety & Security Technology Manager at Capital Group."

As a member of the Global Safety and Security team, reporting to Global Security leadership, you will be responsible for leading the day-to-day execution, sustainment, and continuous improvement of Capital Group's global physical security technology program. You will support the broader security technology strategy and roadmap by translating priorities into operational plans that enhance the safety and security of Capital Group's people, assets, facilities, and business operations across regions. You will work proactively with key stakeholders, leaders, and partners to identify and mitigate physical security risks, strengthen operational readiness, and ensure security technologies are aligned with business needs and enterprise standards.

You will deliver on and support Capital Group's physical security technology programs, including:

  • Delivering and supporting enterprise security technology solutions across Capital Group's global offices and operations.

  • Overseeing the daily operation, maintenance, and lifecycle management of access control, video management, intrusion detection, duress alarms, intercoms, and related integrations.

  • Leading execution of security technology projects, including planning, design coordination, deployment, testing, transition to operations, and continuous improvement.

  • Supporting operational readiness for the Global Security Operations Center by ensuring monitoring workflows, alarm routing, escalation logic, and operator usability are effective and sustainable.

  • Maintaining standards, procedures, runbooks, and technical documentation to support consistent implementation and high-quality service delivery across regions.

  • Monitoring system health, performance, and service issues, and coordinating troubleshooting, restoration, repairs, upgrades, and preventive maintenance activities.

  • Providing escalation support during high-impact incidents affecting security systems and coordinating resolution with internal technology teams and external partners.

  • Evaluating new and emerging technologies and recommending enhancements that improve reliability, situational awareness, and enterprise security outcomes.

You will work closely with Regional Security Teams and the Global Security Operations Center to enable Capital Group's enterprise physical security program and support the maturity, scalability, and operational effectiveness of global security technology capabilities. Because of this responsibility, flexibility in your schedule be needed as we are a 24/7/365 department.

You will coordinate with internal colleagues and stakeholders across Workplace Experience, Information Security, Privacy, Legal, Engineering, and other business groups to identify issues and implement solutions in a proactive and timely manner to reduce physical security risk and improve operational performance.

You will coordinate with security vendors, systems integrators, engineers, consultants, and contractors across the globe to ensure adherence to service expectations, contractual requirements, implementation standards, and overall program objectives.

You will provide guidance on new technologies, methodologies, and platform enhancements as business needs evolve; evaluate new or modified systems, processes, and products against internal standards and operational requirements to identify opportunities to strengthen Capital Group's global security posture.

You will also lead and develop Security Technology associates by providing coaching, feedback, performance management, development planning, and day-to-day direction to ensure effective delivery, accountability, and continuous growth across the team.

  • You have a bachelor's degree in engineering, information systems, security technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

  • You have 10+ years of experience in physical security technology, security engineering, or related roles, including experience leading technical or operational teams.

  • You have deep knowledge of physical security systems architecture and lifecycle management, including access control, video management, alarms, and system integrations.

  • You have experience leading large-scale, cross-functional technology programs and deployments in complex enterprise environments.

  • You have the ability to lead, coach, and manage a technical delivery team while remaining hands-on and execution-focused when needed.

  • You have experience implementing and operating within established standards, governance processes, and compliance requirements for technology programs.

  • You have strong vendor and integrator management experience, including oversight of service delivery, performance expectations, and corrective actions.

  • You have the ability to translate technical issues, system risks, and performance needs into clear business impacts and actionable recommendations.

  • You have strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and operate effectively under pressure.

  • You have experience supporting 24/7 operational environments, incident response needs, and on-call responsibilities as required.

  • You are an excellent written and verbal communicator and can work effectively with stakeholders across business units, regions, and technical disciplines.

  • You demonstrate sound judgment, strong relationship management, and the ability to drive results in a highly collaborative environment.

Charlotte Base Salary Range: $121,554-$194,486 Indianapolis Base Salary Range: $124,035-$198,456

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
